Founder/President
Dr. Calvin McClinton, Executive Director of the Golden Arrow Plaza and Artistic Director of the McClinton Center Studios, is a world renowned music and theatre specialist, performer, artistic and musical director.He has worked with numerous professional organizations throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Colorado, Romania, Korea. He received his undergraduate training at Westminster Choir College at Rider University, Princeton and graduate at Trenton State University, New Jersey and his doctorate from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. McClinton is also a Senior Fulbright Scholar Alumnus and has lectured and taught in Romania, Bulgaria, Italy and Korea. He has also served as professor in several US institutions such as,Wayne State University, Kalamazoo College and Kent State University.

Some of his directing credits are The Sound of Music, Threepenny Opera, Carmen, The African Company presents Richard III, Cabaret, The Piano Lesson and Little Shop of Horrors to name a few. Dr. McClinton has also had the singular honor of directing Godspell the musical at the Cotroceni Palace in Bucharest, Romania.

He is published in Okean, After Censorship, Black Lives - "Essays in African American Biographies" and is the author of Vinnette Carroll an African American Theatre Artist, one of the leading pioneers in Musical Theatre presentations.

Dr. McClinton continues his lectures and research in the musical theatre genre while developing new musical theatre works that explore cultural transformation in new theatrical forms. He has written a new musical "HA, the musical," based on a Romanian folk tale, Harap Alb by Ion Creanga. Currently, he is working on a new musical "Wrightsville", about a homecoming tradition held in a small country community in the mountains of the Alleghany Highlands of Virginia.

Vice-President
Dr. Cezar Ghioca, Director of drama and musical theatre, received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Directing from the National University of Theatrical Arts and Film, Bucharest, Romania where he also received his doctorate in Musical Theatre History and Performance. Mr. Ghioca has participated in numerous workshops and festivals as director and performer. He has also served as assistant to Dr. McClinton for the past four years.
Some of his directing credits include Pulcinella's Metamorphoses, Zoo Story, Forced Marriage and The Persian Story.
He currently directs at the Revue Theatre in Bucharest.

Vice-President
Mr. Thomas Brandus, Sound Engineer and also Coordinator of the Audio Division of the Multimedia Department at the University of Music in Bucharest, Romania.
He received his graduate degree from the National University/Academy of Music in Bucharest and is currently working towards a doctoral degree in "Sociological Analysis on the Romanian Music Industry." He is also the recipient of a Junior Fulbright Scholarship.
Mr. Brandus has won numerous awards for his sound designs and recordings for radio, TV, film and stage as well as his percussion performances.

Historian/Librarian
Mr. Alexandru Gheorghiu, Professional Actor received his degree in acting from The University of Theatrical and Cinematographic Arts in Bucharest, Romania.
Mr. Gheorghiu has perforrmed for both stage and film and has participated in numerous workshops, international festivals and conferences.
Some of his acting credits are Rodrigo-Othello, Baltazar-Comedy of Errors, Seymour-Little Shop of Horrors, Voin-Family Stories, Voicu-The Final Hour and Benvolio-Romeo and Juliet.
His film credits include "Bucuresti-Wien", Converse De Familie, Terminus Paradis and Filantropica to name a few.
